I purchased a Hurricane 450 XP In mid December. 8 days later the charge controller and dump load arrived.

I was super excited that it arrived so fast. I assumed the Wind turbine would arrive within a day or two. It did not. I was told upon purchase that I would receive Tracking info.

I did not. When the turbine did not arrive within a few days of the controller and dump load I emailed tony for tracking. He did not respond. After a week I emailed again.

He finally responded and said the turbine got rained on and had to be re packaged and was sent at a later date. Also said he would send me the tracking. He did not. Move forward 2 more weeks and still no turbine.

After more emails and phone calls a turbine did finally arrive over a month after purchase. 3 of the blades were broken. The housing of the generator had numerous small pieces broken and chipped off. The broken areas had fresh paint over them.

The rotor shaft was so bent that the generator will not rotate unless you put a large wrench on it. The slip ring inside is broken. There was also rust on the outer casing of the PMG. I didn't get any paperwork or instructions, Didn't even get a receipt.

I emailed tony and expressed to him that I believed that they sent me a used and defective wind generator. He assured me sarcastically that they would not send a used turbine. According to what I was looking at, I wasn't too sure. He says that it must have been damaged during shipping.

I can tell you that there is no way that a rotor shaft that short and that big could not have been damaged during shipping without catastrophic damage to the turbine. He then tells me that he will take care of me and file a damage claim with UPS. 12 days later and no update on the damage claim. I emailed and asked for an update.

2 days go by, no response. I just emailed again today, Still no reply. I paid $100 just for shipping alone. Whether damaged before shipping or during, it is not my problem.

Tony has an obligation to make sure I receive the product I ordered in a working fashion. He needs to send me a new product while he waits for an insurance claim. I included some photos and a video. You can see that i have to use an impact wrench to turn the generator.

Tony seemed a little upset that i disassembled the turbine to diagnose the problem myself. Normally that is not something that i would do. Considering the lack of communication and the availability to get any answers or resolution from this company I felt like I had no choice but to try to fix/repair myself. From my initial experience I assumed that there was no way this would be resolved or if it was resolved it would take months considering the timeframe trend I have seen so far with these guys.

I'm not one to complain much and a I am always willing to resolve an issue. I had high hopes for this product and this company. My confidence in this particular company company is diminished.

I don't even want a refund. I just want a working product!!!!!!

This "customer" completely dissembled a product that was damaged in shipping destroyed the windings then expected us to replace it. Who does this?

Further the customer sent us pictures of what appeared to be a used turbine with a broken internal slip ring assembly. The pma has the windings ripped which the customer does not deny doing. A word to any potential customers who get something which does not work or look as they wish it did. Call me, B e mail me C open a report with the shipping company.

This individual injured himself by opening the product and getting his hand trapped with a strong magnet.

This is one of the dumbest things that I have been involved in selling and it could have been completely avoided. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WORK ON THINGS YOUR NOT QUALIFIED TO WORK ON IT IS DANGEROUS!
